Scripting.FileSystemObject

I want to use text files for reviews and stories on my web site and cherish being able to test them locally before sending them to my web server. however, my local machine gives me an error when trying to create the Scripting.FileSystemObject. It does work on my web host, but i dont want to test like that.

I run win2000 server with IIS, does anyone know how i can enable this or get this to work?

to help out, the error is this:

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 8007045a'

Server.CreateObject Failed

i also tested this with VB referencing the Microsoft Scripting runtime and create object worked. I use interdev to code in and it prompted me with the correct methods of the object, ie OpenTextFile, but when i run it, just this error

so, it turns out i had to re-register my scripting object

it works now
