Scripting Administrative Processes

Has anyone had any success with scripting NT/W2K administrative processes - specifically Disk Administrator? I am interested in creating a script (preferably in Tcl, but I'm flexible) to add and format a disk, so that the process is fully automated.

If anyone has pointers to any resources in doing this in ANY programming/scripting language, I'd greatly appreciate it.
