Hi All,

I'm newbie in shell scripting. Can anyone tell how to call script within script.Do have to give the full path of the script which are calling.Help on this will be highly appreciated.

Rgds,
R.K.

It's usually sensible to give the full pathname of the script you're calling so that it will also be picked up if you (as sometimes happens) have to move the calling script elsewhere at some stage. An alternative is to include a cd to the directory where the script is, then execute it by name only. HTH.

In the man environ output pay attention to the PATH variable.

Hope This Help, PH.
