I am just getting started with scripting. I wrote a VB script for Windows 2000 to uninstall a program and install another. In the script I use the WshShell.Sendkeys "{ENTER}" method to guide the uninstall program. The script works when ran manually. I tried to schedule the script to run when not logged in and it did not work. Is their to schedule a script like this to run when there is no user logged in? Thanks in advance for any help or comments.

My guess is that the problem is because you use send keys. Does the application have command line parameters you can use? I have uninstalled software in the past even if the user is not logged on, but never with send keys.

Thanks for your help! I found that the uninstall program does have an option to run in silent mode. This eliminates the need for sendkeys.
