Script to remove / in dates 1

I am trying to write a script that would look at this file, and change the date format from 06/14/2009. We are attemtping to use this line to rename the file, but can't do it with the slash marks in the date

sample:
RBJR7335 DAILY CIRCULATION WORKSHEET 07/07/2009
DRAWS ARE NOT AVERAGED From 06/14/2009 To 06/14/2009 BJ

strDate = "06/14/2009"
MsgBox Replace(strDate, "/", "_")
