Hi, I use Procomm to talk to a PBX but have never had the pleasure of writing a script! I know what I need can be done cos I've seen it working but have no idea hwo to write it. Hopefully someone can help or point me in the right direction.

Here's the scenario...COM1 is connected to the PBX for programming, I have an Excel file with a couple of columns of data, I need to read from the file and send a string on COM1 to delete an entry in the PBX then read from another colum and enter in the data on COM1, then move to the next row of the sheet and continue until the end.

Has someone got an example doing a similar thing or can point give me some ideas on how to do this?

Thanks

Take a look at the DDE scripts on the samples page of my website (link at the bottom). You'll need to use DDE to have Procomm retrieve the information from the spreadsheet, and then can use the transmit command to send that information to the PBX.
