script to pull local admin info into SQL?

Hello-

Is there a canned script that can basically do what I wrote in the subject matter above? I am basically looking to pull admin grp info from all of my server's and pipe it into an SQL database which I've created?

What info?

I'm guessing that you want a script that connects to each server, gets the list of members of the local admins group, then connects to a SQL box and lists the servername along with the list of local admins? How does it get the server names, from AD or from a list?

hello again. reading your question further, I would initially like to extract the info to an sql database. eventually, (I have an inventory list in sql that already contains information) and would like to do a comparison with what new info I've extracted to the existing and place the new info into a new column in the database.

thanks and this is definatley close.. anyway to append to this script to capture this information on a wider scale.. i.e, capture this info for many servers that in a specific OU and then extract it into excel or SQL?

Instead of the GUI window that pops up. The ultimate thing would be to take what is extracted from Active Directory and compare it to a SQL server inventory mdb my company has and is updating just to see what server accounts are being pulled from AD and how different they are compared to this sql mdb.

All I really need is the Server name and what specific accounts are on the local box but there are many servers under one specific OU.
