I have Windows 2003 R2 x64. I attached a Sony Lib-81 library with a single AIT4 drive. I setup the Lib for sequential mode so when I backup the server using NTBackup and my backups use more than one tape the next tape will autoload.
The library has 8 slots. I setup Slot 8 as the cleaning slot using the wizard in Removable Storage Manager. I would like to make it so the drive gets cleaned every Friday prior to my weekend backup which takes about 4 of the 7 available tapes.
How can I tell the library to either clean the drive or load tape 8 so it will clean the drive. If there is not a specific "clean" command for RSM and I have to use a method to load tape 8 into the drive I would also like to know the commands to move tape 8 back from the drive to the slot.
