Guys

I am trying to put together an imaging solution, and I have now been asked to provide a method of configuring individual settings. Some of the settings are unique registry settings and some are unique files.

My main question is can someone let me know if it is possible to do this using a vbscript (on first logon after the image) and an excel spreadsheet (which will hold the individual settings).

Any help from you all is greatly appreciated.

Galli

Yes you can use vbscript to read an Excel file and take action based on what is in the spreadsheet.

Refer to my FAQ faq329-4871 for samples of reading from Excel.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
