Script Overflow in Powerbuilder

Kindly let me know if there any remedies for script overflow in Powerbuilder . when lot of code is wriiten for a window and i try to add some code it gives me the error,
a compile error window with blank message and doesn't allow the window to be saved.
If i remove added script it saves.

I ran across this issue several years (and PB versions) ago. To my knowledge the only solution is to break up the large event, function, or whatnot script into smaller ones which are called as needed.
