Thanks in advance!
I need a script for windows add/remove for installing TinyApps.
The app and docs are under 60k, but innoSetup adds 250k to that.
There are still lots of us
who won't have availability to dsl etc. for many years to come.
Thanks!

I don't know that I understand the question. You need a script to install an application that you wrote?

when you install your app what do you need to do?
copy files somewhere? register dll's? etc
this can be done with vbscript. however i think the functionality that you might be after is things like self extracting exe's etc so you can plonk all the stuff you need into one exe which the user downloads and executes??

Yes, its a program i have written.
I want to , via vbScript, install it in Win Add/Remove list,
and be able to UNinstall it via Win Add/Remove list .
Thanks!

Some useful information can be found in Providing Uninstall Functionality in an .inf Script.

Some of this should prove useful even if you are not creating setup packages via IExpress, a setup creation tool included with many versions of Windows that people overlook.

If only there were some clearer documentation!

On Win2K or later, try Start|Run and enter IExpress to start the wizard.

Thanks!
I'll check them out.
