I've searched around but I can't seem to find what I need. Here is my deal. I have a series of images (45) I'd like to set in a page (or pages), and print. i have all the images placed, but I need to have the image names below the images. Quark has a nice script that will do this, and it would so nice if InDesign could do this, rather than me drawing 45 text boxes and placing type.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance,
Mark

I have to do something akin to this regularly as I have to send copies of photo cds to accounts so they can select pics to use. I use the Contact Sheet in Photoshop to to it, It gives you the option of putting the name below.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

yes. actually I just discovered through the Bridge, that you can make contact sheets in InDesign. Very slick and quicker than PS. But contact sheets make equal sized picture boxes, depending on how many you specify per page. These images are placed with different sizes and cropping, which I've done, I just really don't want to copy paste 45 image names from the link palette into 45 text boxes under the picture boxes.
Try that indesign contact sheet if you haven't yet. It's slick in that you can place all your images as they are, rather than PS churning thru them and changing resolution and whatnot.
Thanks again
Mark
