Is there any script for gathering periodique stats about ethernet card load on a redhat server?

Oracle is installed and i wanna see the load of packets on the LAN card.

`ifconfig eth0'
and look for lines:
RX packets:
TX packets:
RX bytes:
TX bytes:

Hi,

"netstat -in" give you total I/O for eanch interface.

It's not a script, but it shows you all the traffic on an interface in real time. There's a package for Slackware so I'm sure there must be an RPM for RedHat.

Try to use tcpdump
# tcpdump -i eth0
