Script for backing up dated folder and counter bin

I've enabled to print the check counter and used it as the official receipt no. It is saved on c:\of the foh terminal as counter.bin file but once this is removed or deleted lets say, it resets and starts again to 1. Counter.bin as we all know is created when a check is printed and closed. I know this cant be recreated thru a regrind once lost.

Any working script to back up this file together with the dated folder that i can add to winhook on the eod process?
