script for application updates

i wanted to write a script so that everytime i recieve an update for an application i can automate it at logon.........any suggestions???

you've already said it... you can use the login script...
Use Kix32 to enhance your login scripts (so you can write to the registry and do more nice stuff...)
If your application update requires user-intervention, you can also use a tool called 'scriptit', so you can put all 'answers' in a file, and automate the whole update process... Peter Van Eeckhoutte
