Anyone come across a ksh/bash/csh... based fuzzy search tool.

I've got quite a bit of info in txt files and wanted a tool to allow me to search through multiple text files and bring back all results or near results.

I guess other ways are available, just curious.

Unix *is* user friendly. It's just selective about who its friends are.

Could you please elaborate ?
I guess that grep isn't what you're after.

Hope This Helps, PH.

An inexact search for data that finds answers that come close to the desired data. It can get results when the exact spelling is not known or help users obtain information that is loosely related to a topic.
