Scrip issues for mapping user drive 1

I have Windows Server 2003. XP SP2 Clients. I have a VBS script which runs in a policy to map a public share for all users. Within this same script. What command could I add to map the U:\ drive as a personal network drive that only they could access. I have set up a share called HOMESTORE to store the user’s individual documents.

Any help would be appreciated.

Why don't you use the home drive mapping mechanism in AD? That would map the drive for the user. What you describe sounds like the Home Directory. You could also use folder redirection. In a GPO, you could redirect a folder or something like my documents to a different location.

I have done it like this but all users seem to be able to access each others drive if you type the path in a run command for example. How could I lock each user down so they could only get to there own drive?

The only way to keep people out is to manage the NTFS permission on the share for each user. Thats why I mentioned the Folder Redirection. In that GPO, you can tell it to create the directory and/or set permissions on the directory for the users. This way your domain would do all the work for you and setup the permissions for just that user.
