Hi guys,

Is there a way to enforce the screensaver policy on MCD 5.0 SP2 ? I've uploaded the screensaver using the hmtl toolkit and it works fine. However I don't know how to force all the phone to use the screen saver settings (disable by default on the phone)

Is there a way to push the "policy" to all the phone ?

Thanks

Do not believe so.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

I was playing with that this week. I was able to program individual phones but didn't try customized - screen saver on multi-user rollout. If you have Live Content Suite installed it is pretty easy. Just follow the guide.

On the MCD program the COS - User inactivity timeout of all the phones you want to force screen saver. The default image shows the Mitel image depending on the model. But after you specify from the Live Desktop Portal which phone or group of phones you want to customize for the screen saver it updates that content.

Also maintenance command htmlappupdate to manually force phones to update right away if for some reason it doesn't.
