screen settings (time lapse recording via laptop)

I used the timelapse function in Adobe premier (capture-->stop motion )without any problem
but Its not working as i try to do the recording at a long
period of time
.i changed screen settings to never turn off but does not work.
so actualy it has not to do with the software premier it self but probebly with the settings
this morning i got up after it suposed to have recorded the whole night ,but it seems that the recording stopt ,the cammera was still running (but the laptop turned off and the screensaver was turned on).
who can tell me how to record properly with the right settings?
