Screen scrape and search in excel

Hi,

Is there a way to scrape an id number from one software package and do a search for the id in excel and produce a pop up with these details ? eg: take an id number from remedy, and look in excel for the details for this id and produce another window with the details from excel.

Sorry if this is confusing.

Yes, but not using native Excel.
