Screen scrape and paste data in excel

Is there any way I can write a macro or any other solution by which I can copy data off another accounting application and store that data line by line in excel?

The data in the accounting package cannot be manipulated, hence the need to download it into excel

And some others. To find help on look in visual studio if you have it, if not you can find information as MS.
