i have a screensave policy that specifies 10 mins.

i need to set this policy to 30 mins on specific pc's.

what is best method - i had hoped it was a workstation policy but screensavers is a user so i assume it's a loop back of some time

the users are in various ou's

pc's are in seperate ou and i can pop in a dedicated ou if easier for one's i want this to effect

Yes, you are right, screen savers are user only policies.
The only way to overwrite it is to put the machine in loopback (User Group Policy loopback processing mode policy).
Problem with that solution is that it may mess up other user policies that you might have on OU where user resides.

If you really have to do it, then try loopback in merge mode. If there's a conflict between user settings between computer OU and user OU, computer OU will win. Other user settings based on user's OU should apply.

hope this helps, Lukasz
