screen rotation 1

is there any software or combination of keys that i can put on my 98 so the screen will be upside down (180degres) as i have a arcade machine i am trying to put a 19" monitor in and the bottom bit is too beefy to fit so i was planning on turning upside down but i do not think the windows would like that!!!

please if anyone knows of anything like this i would be mega gratfull

It's not a standard windows feature - but is available on some graphics cards. So a new graphics card could do the trick. One such is the Intel Extreme Graphics card.

You can check because if the card supports rotation & you have the right drivers loaded you can navigate thus.

Start>Control panel>Display>Settings>Advanced>Rotation

ok well new my laptop had that card but was sure i never saw it but after searching a little after the advanced though extreme graphics there is a rotation thingy there which was quite fun!!!! but my 98 is all fun i feel because its a AT board was 95 very very old and hardly has enough ram to boot!!!!! unfortunatley i kept the manual for 11 years but this year went to get it and woops its disapeared so i don't want to fiddle about trying to get better ram to much as the connection on the board might fall off!!!!!! reason for it being old is i need the ISA slots. PCI slots are the older lower voltage so im not even sure if this baby could take the card you mentioned!!

if you think it could i would be gratful if you would let me know

Yes it maybe wise to leave the hardware alone.

cool i thought the iRotate was for mac only so didn't look at it thanks mate.

yes the video card if you can call it that is like some cheap foreign import that doesn't even have a brand 'thank you Tiny your the best' omg tiny sucks!!! it like doesn't even have a parrel socket built on the board its a plugin very odd although im young so wouldn't of seen PC's older than that
