I have created a win 2000 server vm on my laptop and installed vm tools but whenever I try to change the screen resolution to something decent it says that the host does not support the current guest settings in full screen mode.

My laptop is set at 32 it colour and 1440 by 900 pixels which I cant get the VMto replicate.

Anyone know how to achieve this.

Sorry if this is a newby question but this is my first attempts with VMWare and if thats the screen resolution ottom line I dont think I will bother.

TIA
