Screen remains dark

Hi Everyone,
Wish u happy new year...so my problem is that after booting my pc, screen remains dark, nothing appears on screen...not even the bios thing, no sound, just the power lights are on. I removed cpu, ram , video card, removed dust and plugged everything back and still nothing.

Prior to that, sometimes it was booting correctly and i could work and sometimes nothing on screen...now nothing...sometimes i have to play with power switch several times before it start.

Sounds like the typical symptoms of a failing power supply and be warned, if it goes altogether it could damage other components.
Try a loaned replacement now (if you can) to be sure of diagnosis and to prevent further damage.
