Screen Refreshing

I have installed on a test server an application which is accessing AS400 servers via Client Access. Client Access is installed on the test box along with the application. Everything connects fine up to a point. When viewing the application the screen flickers every few seconds (refreshing) this is very annoying although it does not affect the applications functionality or speed.
The following has been tried and the software levels are also listed:
Windows 2000 Server SP2, Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 SP3 the latest ICA client running on win 95 win 98 win 2000 none of the above made any difference. The only way it will function properly is either by using XP on the client (with the latest ICA client) or though a RDP connection. None of these two are a workable solution as the application must run on win 95 over ICA. There is lots of bandwidth I am connecting over a LAN with 10Mbps.

Have you tried using the Speed screen setting on the client side?

Yes
with SpeedScreen off or on makes no difference. There is plenty of bandwidth anway

Have you tried reducing the ICA client resolution?

Yes I have lowered the ICA client resolution turned off bitmap caching, although the app does use bitmaps anyway, but what the hell!
