Pls suggest.

What version of MacOS?

For pre-OSX...

If you have the speech extension installed from the MacOS CD, you can have SimpleText speak its text. You could copy and paste text from other apps into SimpleText.

You might also find commercial or freeware programs on versiontracker.com

The same thing applies in Mac OS X, in the TextEdit application, under Edit->Speech->Start speaking.

Under any application, you ought to be able to select text, then under the application menu->Services->Speech->Start speaking. It doesn't work with Acrobat, but does with Safari, Omniweb, and Mail.app.

Hi,
I was looking for a screen reader app for Flash MX.Does it work with Flash?
