How do I invoke the screen lock on Windows XP 64 bit.

If I press ctrl-alt-del, all I get is the task manager. This is a pre-installed Dell system.

Alternatively is there a way of locking the screen from the cmd line.

If you have a MS style keyboard with the "windows logo key" or "start" keys (between CTRL and ALT keys) you can try the "windows" + L keyboard shortcut.

Also i think the following may work from the command line. Does for me but I am running 32b.
Code:
rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation

Thanks - I remembered Windows L after I posted it but other shortcuts are welcome.

Your rundll32 is a good one.
