Screen freezes when trying to get into Install tool Rls 4

When trying to reload software using install floppy MMDU the screen gets to Install tool window and says hit carriage return . The carriage return does nothing and ive tried several different MMDU. Also tried MMDU in the office pbx. Is there a Windows requirement on the pc that may stop the continuation ? im using procom plus and my pc is connected to com 1 on the CPII card.

What version of Windows are you using for Procomm Plus as the Windows 10 64 bit versions does cause problems.

I have attached a slightly older boot up floppy disk tool for you at version 25 to try.

Could be the terminal emulation setting, try VT220 or VT100

COM 1 is the DTE connection , and if you are getting to the tools menu it must be reading the floppy-----------------do you see the CD LED flicker when you hit the carriage return?

try putty ---direct 9600 8 1 none
