Screen display with line and font.

I'm using ID 1.5 now and I purchased CS to upgrade. But problem with CS,
Display problem:
when draw a line as 0.5pt and 1pt, there is no difference with thickness. 0.5pt line shows with grey color but same thickness. Even with font, it doesn't as clear as ID 1.5/
I choose display option as Full resolution.
Is there anything I did wrong?

Under Display performance, you might make sure that all the slider controls are set to their highest settings.

Try zooming in a lot and see if the difference becomes more obvious. The difference between .5 and 1 pt is mighty small.

If you happened to increase your monitor's resolution - making everything appear smaller, that will make small changes harder to see.
