hello everyone.....i wud like to know if there is any software that allows to capture the screen of AIX and allows the system admin to see what the users are doing and understand their problems without personally going to their machines....controlling their screens remotely with mouse and key board will be an added advantage...
thanks in advance... Thief................ ::)

I think, I have confused everyone. I have about 80 RS/6000 Clients with Catia running on most of them spread over a large area. Instead of going to each and every user everytime he has a problem, I would like to observe on my machine, either Windows or RS/6000 what the problem is and take the necessary action. I would like to have a graphical tool which will allow me to do it. Thief................ ::)

Hi,

What we normally do is telneting in from Windows to AIX machines - you are able to do anything.

As well - we connect with Xvision server and run specific AIX applications on top of it,redirecting the output to my display with DISPLAY command.

I do not know about the application that can take over the user's mouse like on Windows. "Long live king Moshiach !"
