I have been useing Ctrl-Print Screen to capture screen shots in Windows NT. This allows me to capture the entire desktop, as well as drop down menus. When I do this on my Windows 98 machine, this procedure does not capture the entire screen, nor does it allow me to capture drop down menus. Actually, this may not be entirely true for all menus. I was trying to capture the list of New> items that is obtained by right clicking in the Windows Explorer. This does work in NT. Does anyone have any ideas why? I would greatly appreciate any help.

To capture the entire screen, try just the Print Screen key. If you only want the active window, use alt-Print Screen. You can then paste the images into Paint or another pic editor.

Tho using that method is the easiest, alot of graphic progs do shots for you too, for example pain shop pro 6, has a pretty nice capturing for different things, and i'm sure others do as well. Just thought i'd mention it <p>Karl<br><a href=mailto:kb244@bellsouth.net>kb244@bellsouth.net</a><br><a href= </a><br>Experienced in , or have messed with : VC++, Borland C++ Builder, VB-Dos, VB1 thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, Borland C++ 3(DOS), Borland C++ 4.5, HTML, ASP(somewhat), QBasic(hehe, yea it was 4.5 too, least i didnt start with COBOL)
