I have several data servers that have been backed up under TSM for years (i.e. 2000 to 2010). I would like to recover as many tapes as possible into the scratch pool, but have a business reason for needing to keep everything prior to 2006. Is there a way to have TSM keep all backups from 2000 through 12-31-2005 and scratch everything from 2006 up to the last backup?
