I have a strange graphical issue. While running Windows and any program in it, I have no problems. But when I run games (The Sims 2, Ragnarok Online) for example, the graphics are fuzzy and kind of scrambled. The areas affected on screen shake a little and are sometimes colored strangely.

I've updated all my drivers, installed the latest version of Direct X...I'm on Windows XP pro, 1.4ghz athalon processor, 512MB of RAM, and a GeForce 4MX. Any help would be appreciated...I've tried to contact the game manufacturers but I just get cookie-cutter answers that never work. Thanks a bunch!

Is this a Gainward GeForce card? The symptoms sound like the problem that Gainward experienced with an assignment of duff capacitors they used to assemble a batch of cards. In normal office use, the cards are usually OK, but once you start running intensive graphics - such as in games - the fault manifests and only a hard reboot resolves the problem.
