Oh wise ones,

What trick can you come up with to avoid the ring disruption on a handsfree call without losing the initial SCR settings. (81C)

BKGRND:
I have office DIDs (with rollover SCNs) on 2008s that require the ring for incoming but they each have a hot line to an outside agency. When the hotline is selected key-0 position becomes available again and the SCR tone disrupts the conversation on the hot line.

Yes I could use ADL rather than Hot, but I'd prefer keeping the number hardwired to avoid fumble-fingers.

AND.. as these users currently employ another analog set for constant connection to dictation service, I'm trying to avoid adding a 3rd set to the workstation.

might need to go acd, and block calls to the acd dn when the scn/hotd is in use.. other then a msb key.. or even making the inbound scr also the hot d.. which works for me then use a scn for non-hot outbound..

if i use the only ringing line as my hot d, the i only get a blink on my scn during a hot d hfa
