Scr in meridian means single call ringing, usually its programmed for one set only. Scn, is the same thing but not ringing just appearing on the set. Mcr, multiple call ringing, this is programmed for an ext to appear on several sets to be answered at multiple times. The scr feature can appear on multiple sets, but it will tie up that line once it is answered. With the mcr feature, it gives the user the abilitiy to answer a call and leaving the rest on the mcr keys available to accept another call. Mcn is the same as mcr but without the key rining.
