SCPU causes sysload 2

Hey guys,

Been reading this forum for decades and I just realised that I never had a login... lol.. Thank you for the enormous amount of info you provide :)

I have an issue that I can't seem to resolve. CPPM cards on 7.65 in HSP, stat cpu says the system is redundant and synced but everytime I try to do a SCPU, the active one does a INI and the inactive one does a SYSLOAD. Then the active one comes back before the inactive and it stays the active one. The only way I can switch CPU is by causing a real failover (remove HSP and ELAN on active), wait until the inactive comes on and then plugging everything back on. I have removed all the patches, reinstalled them and it still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Thanks :)

Details

Switch CPU on CS1000 failed
When doing SCPU, the Active CS INI and the standby CS starts procedure to take over, during the process the standby CS reboots too
Active CS takes over the system again.
Patches up to date(not upto date also does not matter)
CP-PM CS 0, x x x, NTDW99CAE5
CP-PM CS 1, y y y, NTDW61BAE5
The below CPUs in HA system also are not compatibility
CP-PM CS 1, 40 0 22, NTDW99CAE5
CP-PM CS 0, 36 0 22, NTDW99AAE5

Problem Clarification

SCPU does not work on CS1000 HA

Cause

Hardware mismatch issue between old and new vintage

Problem is reported on PSN Product
#PSN004247u

There is a problem of CS1000E
Call Server Inactive CPU reboot reported from the field.
The problem affects CS1000E dual CPU (High Availability) systems with CPPM CPU card NTDW99CAE5 only. The problem does not occur on previous versions of the CPPM pack NTDW99AAE5 or NTDW99ABE5 packs

Solution

Replace one of the CPPM cards to support SCPU

This is exactly it, I have a NTDW61BAE5 + NTDW99CAE5, I will switch the cards with others that I have.

Thanks a bunch!

Switched to two NTDW99CAE5 and it's now working fine. Thanks again!
