All I have an xt5000 system that is functioning from communicator and the scopia app internally and externally by using name.com. my problem is I cannot call another conf r encephalitis room system and they cannot call me. Any ideas?

Cannot be done on the smb9. Otherwise you could buy three of these systems and have 27 people connected for less than $30,000.
Xt5000 supports NINE parties calling to the codec unit from PCs, android or apple.
You need the mcu6000. (Big bastard).
So, your network has been poorly designed or their was a failure to clearly define stakeholder expectations before implementation.

There's one with a hump. And one who can jump.

Ok so the XT5000 cannot support calling another conference unit outide their LAN. He has a customer that uses a hosted scopia that you access via public ip##meeting ID. Also outside of scopia mobile and communicator there is no way to access the system? I just want to make sure I understand properly. What would be needed to do room to room calling? He also has an XT240 at another site.

You need the mcu6000. (Big bastard). Then you're hosting rooms.

To throw a wrench in this the customer was able to call another conference unit that is hosted in the cloud, public ip##meeting id and connected using his xt240. This is where I'm confused, I understand if people from other conference rooms can't call him but calling out seems like it should be standard. Not meaning to drag this out but I just got relayed this piece of information

And they have a Scopia ELITE MCU somewhere. You have an XT 5000 MCU.
