When closing a public procedure that has its own dimmed rs and rs.open recordset, is there an absolute need to rs.close it? I know it's just a good idea for a cleanup process at the end of the procedure but, doesn't it automatically get closed anyway? I will continue to use the .close. I've come across a lot of someone elses code that does not do it. We're talking MS Access 2000 here.
