Hi,
I have just rebuilt an old SCO box in which the disk failed. Using a new disk and an image take off the old disk well before it failed it now boots OK. The SCO version is 3.2v4.2
However, I cannot get X to work. When using mkdev graphics I get errors writing to the /usr/tmp directory. eg cannot write /usr/tmp/aaaa34512
Permissions on /usr/tmp are wide open, I am running mkdev as root and I have checked that root can write to the directory.
Thanks in advance for any help as I have to get the machine running again.
