Hello:

We have an old Server running on Everex Hardware has one DISK which is running SCO UNIX. There was two partions on the single DISK. One is /root and the other is /users. Now it shows error mounting while booting and when I login in maintenance mode and if I mount it into a folder I can see
data under /users. It does not allow me login otherwise. I have error message saying access denied on /usr/bin/logon etc...

Now I have to define profile manually from maintenance mode to run some Informix program. It does not allow me to run many programs as I am logged in as root.

Appreciate anyone's help.

Regards,

Depending on what the error is when it tries to mount the filesystem (i'm assuming /users) I would try the following:

/tcb/bin/integrity -e
fixmog #if integrity found anything

you may need to run fsck against the users filesytem.
I am also assuming that this is version 3.2.2 or 3.2.4.2
