Hello - I'm very much a newbie to SCO Unix email.

Several months ago we had a problem where our Linux mail server went offline and our SCO system tried to send out email. As a result we have several addresses that appear to have been identified as "bad hosts" and now the system will not send emails to those addresses even though the mail server now fine. We can send emails to those addresses through Windows with no issues.

Is there a way to "clear" a bad host designation so that these emails can be sent again?

Apologies if there's not enough information here. We are using MMDF - messages with the problem are in the /var/spool/mmdf/lock/home/... folders (/addr/, /msg/ and q.smtp).

TIA for any help you can provide.

Margaret
