I have a sco server, when I run uname -a . I get SCO 3.2 2

How to I set up default Gateway on the server after power cut I have lost connectivity to the server via the network.

when I type route add 127.3.4.5 127.3.4.5 255.255.0.0
I get add net 127.3.4.5 gateway 127.3.4.5 Network not unreachable.

Help needed to bring up the network please

You really have a router with IP@=127.3.4.5 ?
If so, you may try this:
route add default 127.3.4.5 255.255.0.0

Hope This Helps, PH.

Am able to ping 127.0.0.1 my localhost and my network card 127.3.4.5 but am not able to ping the server my network. Any reason why.

Is you Network switch on a UPS? if not then try turning evering off, turn the switch first, the Unix server second and you PCs third.
We run into this problem with our clients al the time when there is a power failure and this procedure usually fixes the problem.
If you still can not ping your server from another unit in your local network, you could have a bad NIC in the server.
