look at 'man snmpd'
the files snmpd.conf, snmpd.trap, snmpd.comm and snmpd.peers are the ones to configure. You'll find them in /etc
Try it out and come back if you run into trouble.
For security reasons, you shouldn't set the community name to public (file snmpd.comm). /Sören
