SCO Unix 5.0.4 - Viewing print jobs in queue takes too Long

There have been various problems with this on diffeent release. You didn't mention what patches you have, or what kind of printers you have, so the best I can do is tell you to go to and search for "lpstat hangs"
If you have network printers, may be what you want.
can also be important though not directly related.
