sco openserver5.06 sendmail can not deliver mails

I installed a new mail server with sendmail of SCO OPENSERVER5.06. I used the command of MKDEV CF to estalblish DOMIAN,HOST,and MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS. I set up a DNS with MS WINDOWS2003 SERVER, and used nslookup to test. DNS is ok. But I met some problems:
1\In the lan pc can deliver mails, but never receive any mails
2\When I sent mail to wan,the informaition showed that mistake 550 RELAYING DENIED;
3\ Server Outside can not deliver mails to my server.
how to cope with these problem?

Is this system directly connected to the internet?

If not (and I presume that is the case) the problems are most likely with your 'smart' mailhost, i.e. the one that is connected to the internet and routes email to and from your SCO system.
