SCO OPENSERVER 5.0.6 INSTALLATIO PROBLEM

HI

I am trying to install SCO Openserver 5.0.6 on IBM Netfinity 5500 M10 with RAID 5 DISKS, When I run install CD, and go throught the prompts, It can NOT find a root disk to install, even thought I have a logical drive on the array that is 4GB.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Have you made first the configuration using the Ibm cd's in order to tell the machine that you will install the Sco system?

Maybe you need to type something at the boot promt like "boot: link=ipsraid "or something like that.

Please read the Readme that comes with the machine and you will find the answer there.

You'll probably need to load the BTLD boot time load driver for your raid controller AND specify the defbootstr Sdsk id #.
