WE are trying to have 2 5.0.2 servers connect, no supplements installed.
Server 1 : P2
Server 2 : Dell Power Edge 2600
NICs : 3com3c905TX. Drivers downloaded from SCO site
The Dell server can be pinged from another PC on the network. The P2, can't be pinged from remote PCs, nor can it ping anything other than local address.
I noticed in the 'hwconfig' on the P2 that the vector fro the NIC is set at 255. From what I've researched this assignment is reserved for mulyiple CPUs. The vector assignment on the Dell is 11. Can anyone tell me why 255 was assigned to the NIC. Could this be my problem? There is only 1 CPU, and SMP is not installed.

Thanks

I seem to remember something about having to configure the 3Com cards using their own boot diskettes before SCO would recognise them properly... but it's from the dark and distant past.
