Sco Error

Hi Guys,

I have been encountering an error message after booting.

ERROR - Failed to initialize policy manager(IFOR_PM_FATAL). The status from the policy manager deamon(PMD - /etc/ifor-pmd) indicates that a serious error condition has occured. Login is allowed but the System Administrator is strongly advised to consult the Sco online support solutions library (SSL) for assistance; If the SSL is inaccessible, please contact your Sco representative.

Any ideas on how to deal with this problem?

Hi,

Try a little research next time, google returns a ton of hits. Here is one from SCO TA:

looks promising. I have had this happen before but cannot remember exactly how I fixed it. I am sure it was through a TA or pcunix.com.
