Hello,
I am strying to add a Windows 2000 workstation to my netowrk running SCO and VisionFS. When I logon to the workstation I cannot map any drives to the SCO box. Any Ideas?

Thanks.

The VisionFS Password file must be updated with the "exact" login name and password that your using on the Win2k box.

You must login to the Win2k box with those same exact values in order to access any shares, including mapping a unix drive to your Win machine.

If either of these are incorrect, you can "see" the Vision FS server, but not "access" anything on it.

This is a very simple answer, although VFS and Win2K are not, so let me know if you need further details.

By the way, VFS does offer a password "wizard", but be careful, so as not to break the access your other Win boxes now have. [sig]
Tom Whitehead
twhitehead@commeq.com

[/sig]
